Co-Founder & Creative Director
August 2020 - May 2021
In the height of the Covid-19 lockdown, I started a app-based dry cleaning delivery company with my two brothers. The concept was essentially "Uber Eats, but for dry cleaners".
As Creative Director, I was responsible for the Brand's identity, as well as creating all of the company's graphics, animations, advertisements, videos, email templates, etc.
The first B2C (customer facing) ad campaign.
The promotion helps to catch people's attention, while the imagery of the moped and the reference to food delivery help to explain the concept of Sprink's service to someone who doesn't know anything about what we do.
Sprinky, the company's mascot
I created 'Sprinkies' as a mascot to serve as an anchor for our various media and to illustrate the simplicity of our service.
Rather than making a single mascot, I decided to make Sprinkies a sort of species of cartoon people. This would allow me to make Sprinkies that everyone can relate to.
Sprinkies are often shown in various cartoonish scenarios with his size varying from scene to scene. Sometime's they're driving a toy racecar, sometimes using a normally sized bike pump to inflate a bubble, all that matters is that they convey action and simplicity to the customer.
An early wireframe for the website's layout.
Even though the service is almost entirely app-based, we still needed a website to serve as a landing page for people discovering us.
This site needed to quickly explain what we do and why you should use our service.
Early social media ad concept
I aimed for simplicity and eye catching colour and movement above all else.
The simple question followed up by our logo as the answer makes Sprink's service to seem like a no-brainer solution to your problem.
Advertisement for Dry Cleaners
This video needed to introduce the concept of what a Sprink dry cleaner does whilst also selling it to them as a solution to improve sales.
The before and after images when a business launches their Sprink store.
It was important to make this feel like a big moment for the store's owner, we wanted them to be sure that all of their details were correct and ready for their store to go live without sounding too scary.
A rocket launch seemed like the perfect way to illustrate this moment.
Email templates
I created all the neccesary email templates for Sprink using Mailchimp and then exporting the HTML (with some minor adjustments) to our Mailgun.
